Alessandro Nieto grabs gold for shotput, will rep NCR at Palarong Pambansa 2025

Representing Quezon City, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) student athlete Alessandro Nieto (11-Moscoso) won two medals in last month’s NCR Palaro Athletics Meet: a gold medal for shotput and a bronze in discus. As a regional meet gold medalist, Alessandro will proudly represent the National Capital Region (NCR) at Palarong Pambansa 2025, scheduled to take place from 24 May to 2 June 2025 in Laoag, Ilocos Norte.
The NCR Palaro Athletics Meet was held on 12 March 2025 at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
