Grade 10 completer Jacob Samson wins silver for PH at prestigious Pan Asian Jiu Jitsu tourney

Recent Ateneo de Manila Junior High School (AJHS) completer Jacob Samson (10-Realino Class of 2025) won the silver medal in the recent Pan Asian Gi & No Gi Jiu Jitsu International Open. He competed in the Cadet Boys Gi U16 Open Belt +77 kg category.
The 2025 Pan Asian Gi & No Gi Jiu Jitsu International Open took place on 28 June 2025 at the Ayala Circuit Makati Event Center. The tournament included both Gi and No-Gi divisions for children, adults, and masters. The event is a major competition in the Asian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) calendar, drawing athletes from Australia, Brazil, France, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
