Grade 1 fencer Trisha Ignacio wins medal for PH in 1st Hefeng Cup in Taiwan

Young Ateneo de Manila Grade School fencer Trisha Ignacio (1-Malinis) has demonstrated her talent by winning medals in two recent competitions. At the Oblation Fencing Tournament held in Quezon City from 22-23 February 2025, she secured a bronze medal in the U7 Women's Sabre event. Five weeks later, she represented the Philippines at the 1st Hefeng Cup National Junior Fencing Competition in Taiwan on 29 March 2025. There, Trisha ranked 10th in the U7 Mixed Sabre and was awarded a medal and a merit certificate.
It's also worth noting that Trisha is the brother of Trent Ignacio (6-Brebeuf), who has also achieved medal-winning success in recent fencing competitions.
