AGS swimmer Jacob Blanco wins two silvers in NCR Meet

Representing Quezon City, Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) swimmers Jacob Blanco (5-T'Boli), Thor Cziomer (5-Subanon), Rodrigo Pablo (6-Gonzaga), and Joaquin Plazo (5-Bagobo) won medals in the NCR Meet held from 17-20 March 2025 at the Muntinlupa Aquatic Center.
Jacob collected two silvers for individual events, namely the 400m freestyle and the 100m backstroke.
Jacob was joined by Joaquin, Rodrigo, and Thor in the 4x100m medley relay, for which they won bronze.
Though Jacob collected two silvers at the regional meet, he did not meet the cut-off time for his events. As such, he did not earn a slot to represent the NCR at Palarong Pambansa 2025, which will be held in Ilocos Norte from 24 May to 2 June 2025.
