Composed of players from Ateneo Junior High School (AJHS) and Ateneo Senior High School (ASHS), Ateneo de Manila's first ever girls’ futsal varsity emerged as High School Open Division Champion of the RIFA Phase 2 9-A-Side Football Tournament on 16 March 2025. In addition, team captain Ry Dolor (11-Nakaura) was named MVP. The pioneering team’s members are Tyler Templo (7-Baldinucci) and Sari Yañez (7-Alonso) from AJHS; and Hannah Bayhon (12-Pro), Ace Bonghanoy (11-Nakaura), Ven Cambri (12-Miki), Ace Caparas (12-Pantalia), Ry Dolor, Louise Doque (11-De Brito), Adia Evangelista (11-Campion), Rafaela Panes (11-Mayer), Lia Roc (11-San Vitores), and Patty Salvador (12-Ogilvie) from ASHS. They are coached by Jeff Lobaton (head) and Albert Llevares (assistant). Formed just this school year, the AHSGFT (Ateneo High School Girls' Futsal/Football Team) is Ateneo de Manila’s first ever high school girls’ futsal team, making its victory in a football tournament all the more impressive.

Among the schools which participated in the tournament were Miriam College, Assumption Antipolo, Rosehill, La Salle Green Hills, La Salle College Antipolo, St Theresa's College, and San Beda Rizal University. Throughout the tournament, the Blue Eagles kept a clean sheet, with no goals conceded. And though Ateneo - with its record of four wins and two draws - faced undefeated Rosehill (six wins) in the finals, Ateneo won the last two games.
The RIFA 2nd Phase 9-A-Side tournament was held from 8 December 2024 to 16 March 2025 in the Ocampo field and Moro Lorenzo field of Ateneo de Manila’s Loyola Heights campus in Quezon City.
