25 Mar 2025
From 19-21 March 2025, the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) hosted the Uswing Mojing Junior World Qualifiers. The largest international junior golf event in the world, the Junior World Championships routinely attract around 1250 participants from 56 countries and 42 US States.

After three grueling days of extreme winds and tight competition, AGS champion golfer Race Manhit (6-Miki) emerged victorious in the qualifier, securing one of the four slots in the boys’ 11-12 category. He is the sole Atenean to make it as a member of the 38-man contingent that will represent the Philippines in the Junior World Championships, which will be held from 8-10 July 2025 in San Diego, California.
The Junior World Qualifiers were held in two venues: at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in General Trias, Cavite, for 12 years and under; and at The Country Club in Laguna for 13- to 18-year-olds.
