AGS is 13U Champion of Speedo Nat’l Short Course Swimming Tournament

The Ateneo de Manila Grade School varsity swim team recently emerged as 13 & Under Boys’ Champion of the Speedo National Inter-school Swimming Championship Short Course Season 2024. Individually, the Blue Eagles accumulated four golds, 10 silvers, and seven bronzes in eight events.
Rostered in the team are Dylan Basas (5-Ifugao), Jacob Blanco (5-T’boli), Lucas Cabato (4-Kalun), Thor Cziomer (5-Subanon), David Dela Cruz (5-Yakan), Daniel De Belen (5-Mangyan), Mateo Garcia (4-Marikudo), Samuel Gatchalian (6-Hurtado), Alonzo Lucas (5-Ifugao), Caleb Marquez (3-Makiling), Zino Moldez (5-Sumakwel), Marcus Pablo (3-Buluran), Rodrigo Pablo (6-Gonzaga), Juami Pamandanan (5-Mangyan), Joaquin Plazo (5-Bagobo), Carlos Pua (5-Ifugao), Ethan Punta (2-Acacia), Piero Ramolete (6-Faber), Paul Salazar (2-Bargas), and Marcus Salom (6-Brebeuf). They were coached by Krystal De La Cruz.

Thor Cziomer: 2 golds (4x50m medley, 4x50m freestyle), 2 silvers (50m backstroke, 50m breaststroke), 3 bronzes (100m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 50m freestyle)
Jacob Blanco: 2 golds (4x50m medley, 4x50m freestyle), 1 silver (50m backstroke), 1 bronze (50m butterfly)
Joaquin Plazo: 1 gold (4x50m medley), 1 silver (50m butterfly), 1 bronze (50m backstroke)
David Dela Cruz: 1 gold (50m breaststroke)
Zino Moldez: 1 gold(50m freestyle)
Rodrigo Pablo: 1 gold (4x50m medley)
Piero Ramolete: 1 gold (4x50m freestyle)
Lucas Cabato: 2 silvers (100m freestyle, 50m backstroke)
Alonzo Lucas: 2 bronzes (50m backstroke, 50m freestyle)
