Born-2013 Blue Eagles place 3rd in PRADA U11 basketball tourney

Ateneo de Manila Grade School’s Born-2013 basketball varsity emerged as U11 2nd runner up of the 2024-2025 Private Schools Athletic Development Association (PRADA) Basketball Championship, which was concluded on 26 January 2025. 

The members of the team are Tayshaun Benito (5-Kalinga), RyRy De Guzman (6-Faber), Omar De Leon (6-Xavier), Theo Del Mundo (6-Kostka), Jeric Espíritu (5-Mangyan), Ryley Floirendo (6-Campion), Julian German (6-Claver), Matteo Lanot (6-De Brito), Joaquin Luz (6-Hurtado), Eli Martires (5-Ifugao), Hunter Tajon (6-Regis), Arri Sazon (6-Miki), Prince Torio (5-Subanon), Gavin Velasquez (5-Tboli) and Jorge Zaballa (6-De Brito). They were coached by head coach Monroe Cueson and assistant coach Eric Guray.

PRADA basketball U11 3rd place Born-2013 varsity

Our Blue Eagles competed against eight other private schools in this year’s U11 PRADA tournament, namely La Salle Greenhills, De La Salle Zobel, Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati, Don Bosco Technical College Mandaluyong, Marist School of Marikina, San Beda University Rizal, San Beda University Alabang, and Xavier School San Juan. 

The games were played in the basketball courts of Xavier School in San Juan, Marist in Marikina, and San Beda in Muntinlupa.
