Ateneo is QC Division Meet Baseball Champion

Composed of players from Ateneo de Manila Junior High School (AJHS) and Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS), the Ateneo High School baseball team won the Quezon City Division Meet held on 7 December at Marist Field in Marikina & 10 December 2024 at the UP Baseball Field in Quezon City. The Blue Eagles won against Ramon Magsaysay High School, 14-0, in the championship game.
The members of the team are Sancho Afuang (9-Gelabert), Sky Apostol (12-Carvalho), Raffy Blaza (10-Pignatelli), Sean Cristobal (12-Anchieta), Migz Cruzat (9-Gelabert), Enzo De Guzman (11-Bellarmino), Ethan Galvez (10-Rubio), Ryu Garcia (12-Beyzym), Tommy Oblea (9-Harcourt), Mio Salazar (12-Acquaviva), Janko Sevilla (11-Campion), and Mio Silva (11-Angelis). Mio Ilagan (10-Nagashima) is the team’s student manager. The Blue Eagles are coached by Pepe Jose (head), Junjun Bonifacio (assistant), and Emer Barandoc (assistant).
Also participating in the division meet were the teams from Commonwealth High School and Balara High School.
As division champions, the Blue Eagles will represent Quezon City in the upcoming NCR Meet for the opportunity to advance and represent NCR in Palarong Pambansa 2024.
