TKD jins Stef Leones and Nathan Chupungco to rep QC in NCR meet

Five ASHS taekwondo jins medaled in the Athletic Association of Private Schools (AAPS) competition held on 5 December 2024 at Ayala Fairview Terraces. Leading the medalists were Stef Leones (12-Pro) and Nathan Chupungco (11-Bellarmino), who both won gold. Winning silver were Max Favila (11-Bellarmino), Zoe Maceda (11-Fontoura), and Keanne Pumaren (11-Hurtado).
The AAPS is the equivalent of the District Meet for Palarong Pambansa.
Thanks to their golden performances in the AAPS competition, Leones and Chupungco advanced to the Quezon City Division Meet held at Camp Crame Elementary School on 15 December 2024. There, they again won gold medals and will thus represent Quezon City in the upcoming NCR meet in hopes of earning slots to compete in Palarong Pambansa 2025.
