AJHS' Alonzo Fernandez wins 2 golds in Baguio Int'l Open Jiu Jitsu Championship

Ateneo de Manila Junior High School student athlete Alonzo Fernandez (8-Claver) has won three golds, one silver, and one bronze in four jiu jitsu tournaments held between April and October 2024.

Bronze, Marianas Pro Jiu Jitsu Championship 2024 held on 21 April 2024 at Festival Mall Alabang in Muntinlupa
Silver, Abu Dhabi AJP Tour-Philippines held on 10 July 2024 at La Salle Greenhills in San Juan City
Gold, Angeles International Open Jiu Jitsu Championship 2024 held on 14 July 2024 at SM Clark in Angeles, Pampanga
Two Golds (No Gi and With Gi), Baguio International Open Jiu Jitsu Championship 2024 held on 5 October 2024 at YMCA in Baguio City
Franco trains on most days from 5:00 to 9:00 pm for jiu jitsu, which has taught him discipline and time management.
