Grade 2 jin Jude Poyaoan wins 2 golds in MAPATA tourney

The members of Ateneo de Manila Grade School's varsity taekwondo team started the 2024-2025 competition season strong, securing several medals in their very first tournament. In the MAPATA (Makati-Pasig-Taguig) Age Group Taekwondo Championships held on 17 August 2024 at Rizal High School in Pasig City, the following Ateneans won medals:
Jude Poyaoan (2-Tanguile): Gold, poomsae + Gold, kyorugi
Teddy Oblea (6-Xavier): Silver, kyorugi
Alexander Salvan (3-Taal): Silver, kyorugi
Daryn Ferrer (5-Dumagat): Silver, kyorugi
The MAPATA tournament attracted more than 600 participants.
