Ateneo/QC places 2nd at NCR Palaro Football Meet

Representing Quezon City, the Ateneo Grade School Football Team proudly secured the 1st runner-up position in the highly competitive NCR Football Meet. Though they triumphed in their games against Makati City, Pasig City, and Marikina City, the Blue Eagles lost the championship match against San Juan City with the narrow score of 1-0.
The members of the team are Red Alminar (5-Tausug), Sancho Bautista (5-Subanon), Reign Cruz (6-Campion), Zac Diaz (5-Ivatan), Ghazi Dy (6-Pignatelli), Ryu Famorcan (5- Subanon), Anton Flameño (6-Kostka), Iggy Flameño (6-Bellarmine), Harvey Garcia (6-Regis), Daniel Guerrero (5-Maguindanao), Kyle Molina (6-Realino), Ryan Moti (5-T’boli), Jacob Navarro (5-Bagobo), Miguel Tagarda (4-Sultan Kudarat), Ram Tuazon (5-Ati), Matteo Villanueva (6-Berchmans), and Bosco Virrey (6-De Brito). They were coached and mentored by Paul Madrona and Paeng Cruz.
Held on April 24 at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex, the NCR Meet showcased the exceptional talents and determination of young athletes from across the National Capital Region who were hoping to represent Metro Manila at Palarong Pambansa 2024 this July.
