AGS batters place 3rd in amateur baseball tourney

Comprised of Shetland, Pinto, and Bronco players, the Ateneo de Manila Grade School baseball team placed 3rd at the conclusion of the Philippine Amateur Baseball Association (PABA) 2024 Children’s Baseball Series on Saturday, April 6, at UP Los Baños, Laguna.
The members of the team are Bucky Aligada (2-Acacia), Seanchi Alli (2-Acacia), Jac Amaya (2-Dao), Xavi Buenviaje (1-Masipag), Brandaun Busto (K-Kanaryo), Braven Busto (2-Acacia), Liam Dela Cruz (2-Kamagong), Hugo Gabriele De Vera (1-Masipag), Matteo Escalante (2-Lauan), Yulo Grey (1-Masaya), Enzo Lavides (2-Tanguile), Andro Mumar (2-Lauan), Santi Narcelles (2-Banaba), Matthew Panis (2-Acacia), Karlsen Saunar (1-Matapat), Jacob Simeon (2-Dao), Andres Tiston (3-Kanlaon), and Elias Tiston (1-Malikhain). They are coached by Alfonso Dizer, Bien Francisco, and Rex Bangayan.
Despite having several players who are new to the sport, the Blue Eagles exhibited remarkable grit and perseverance, showcasing their determination to excel even against more experienced opponents.
