Born-2010 Blue Eagles place 2nd in PRADA Midgets Basketball

The Ateneo Born-2010 Basketball Team emerged as 13-under division first runner-up of the Private Schools Athletic Division Association (PRADA) Midgets Basketball Championship, which was concluded on February 11, 2024.
Rostered in the 13-under team are Ateneo de Manila Junior High School students Francis Castro (8–Fausti), Zeke De Vera (8-Cottam), Sky Dela Rosa (8-Dajani), Enzo Divinagracia (8–Collins), Richmond Gonzales (8–Fausti), Kaleb Hwang (8–Fausti), Sky Jazul (8–Claver), JD Juangco (8–Canisius), Danwill Maldia (8–Fernandes), Domeng Ngo (8–Fenwick), Miguel Saguiguit (8–Fenwick), Spencer Saw (7–Alfonso), Santi Tison (8–Del Castillo), Maxwell Train (8–Favre), Liam Vea (8–Collins), and Jude Ylen (7–Azevedo). They were coached by Ford Arao (head) and Miguel Asis (assistant).
The 16-man team bested eight other competing schools during the elimination round. Armed with tighter defense and better court discipline, Ateneo- which was considered the underdog- won against Xavier School, 57–52, in the semi-finals. The Blue Eagles again fought valiantly in the finals but eventually succumbed to San Beda College Alabang, 53-58.
Held at the Xavier School basketball gym in San Juan, the PRADA Midgets tournament began in October 2023 and was concluded on February 11, 2024.
