Enecio wins 2 golds for PH in ASEAN Youth Archery championships

Representing the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School student athlete Ckheil Enecio (ABM/12-Arnaiz) won two golds, one silver, and one bronze medal in the recent ASEAN Youth Archery Championships.
Competing in the recurve U18 category, he won his two golds in the men’s Olympic round and in the mixed team event with his sister, Cashie Enecio. Ckheil’s silver was for the men’s individual qualifying round, while the bronze was bagged in the men’s team event and shared with his Olympus Archery PH teammates.
Organized by World Archery Philippines, the ASEAN Youth Archery Championships 2023 were hosted by the Philippines and held at Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Stadium in Talisay, Cebu, from 16-19 August 2023. The international competition attracted around 300 archers from Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
