Grade 6 TKD jin Cross Acal wins gold in MAPATA tourney

Ateneo de Manila Grade School taekwondo jin Cross Acal (6-Faber) won gold and bronze medals for sparring/kyorugi in the black belt division of two recent taekwondo competitions.
In the 1st MAPATA (Makati-Pasay-Taguig) Taekwondo Championships held on May 7 at STI Global City in Taguig, he won the gold medal. In the 2023 Smart/MVPSF 46th National Taekwondo Championships held on July 23 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay, he bagged bronze.
Cross is a member of the Ateneo Grade School taekwondo varsity. He was coached and trained for these recent competitions by Joey Paja and Karla Jane Alava.
