Ateneo HS/QC baseball team places 3rd in NCR Palaro Meet

Representing Quezon City, the Ateneo de Manila High School baseball team finished third in the secondary division of the NCR Palaro Baseball Meet 2023 held in April. The members of the team- whose players are from Ateneo de Manila Junior High School and Senior High School - are as follows, with their sections from School Year 2022-2023 in parentheses following their names: Javi Almoro (12-Navarro), Sky Apostol (10-Mangin), Cid Aranzamendez (12-Pro), Nate Canonizado (10-Morse), Sean Cristobal (10-Garnier), Enzo De Guzman (9-Berchmans), Ryu Garcia (10-Zuraire), Jacob Laygo (12-Evans), Ecko Macatuno (12-Walpole), Kiko Medina (12-Acquaviva), Damian Nuestro (11-Brebeuf), and Janko Sevilla (9-Sitjar).
Coached by Pepe Jose, Junjun Bonifacio, and Emer Barandoc, the boys fought hard against Muntinlupa, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Valenzuela, Taguig, Pasay, Manila, Malabon, and Marikina for the right to represent the National Capital Region in Palarong Pambansa 2023, which will be hosted by Marikina City and will open on July 29, 2023.
The NCR Palaro Meet was held in Marikina City from April 24 to 28, 2023.
