Born-2011 Ateneans win Hotshots basketball developmental league tourney

Arkisens Design Architecture emerged as 12U champion of the Hotshots Basketball Developmental League (HBDL) Season 5 tournament on February 19, 2023. The team is composed of Ateneo de Manila Grade School born-2011 players, namely, Joaquin Baliwag (6-Regis), Rajko Baluyot (6-Gonzaga), Mateo Beley (5-Maguindanao), Dros Carlos (5-Kalinga), Paulo De Belen (6-Claver), Angelo Dolera (6-De Brito), Manu Fernandez (6-Xavier), Markus Jimenez (6-Claver), Miguel Manalo (6-Bellarmine), Z Molina (6-Berchmans), Enzo Villarin (6-Faber), and Migo Yoro (6-Brebeuf). As for individual awards, Migo Yoro was named Finals MVP and a Mythical Five selection, while Manu Fernandez was also named a Mythical Five selection.
The team was coached by Monroe Cueson and Tonge Bunag for the competition, which was held in the Padre Pio Gym of Lourdes School of Mandaluyong from January 21 to February 19, 2023.
