Kallos & Puentespina of AJHS are doubles champs of QC tennis dual meet

Ateneo de Manila Junior High School athletes Manu Kallos (Pamplona/8-Rubio) & Caleb Puentespina (Pamplona/7-Pignatelli) emerged as doubles champions of the Quezon City Lawn Tennis Dual Meet on March 19, 2023. A pre-qualifier for Palarong Pambansa, the meet was held at Amoranto Sports Center in Quezon City from March 18-19, 2023. Representing private school Ateneo de Manila in the dual meet, the Blue Eagles defeated their public school counterparts from Ponciano Bernardo High School. Manu & Caleb will thus advance to the regional meet later this month for a chance to represent the NCR at Palarong Pambansa 2023.
Palaro 2023 will be held in Marikina City from July 29 to August 5.
Manu & Caleb were coached for the Quezon City division meet by Jopy Mamawal.
