AGS Born-2011 team is 2023 RIFA Cup champ

Ateneo de Manila Grade School’s Born-2011 football team is champion of the 2023 RIFA Cup, a bi-annual inter-school cumulative tournament. This year’s first edition competition took place on January 14, 21, and 28, 2023, with the first two game days being held at Xavier School in San Juan, and the finals being fought at Colegio San Agustin in Makati. Ateneo topped the eliminations round with a lossless record and was victorious in the championship match.
Our Born-2011 team is composed of the following Ateneo de Manila Grade School students: Sancho Aquino (6-Campion), Chad Baviera (6-Realino), Aki Belza (6-Regis), Alejo Commeyne (5-Subanon), Francis Desabille (6-Bellarmine), Basti Driz (6-Berchmans), Lucas Escalante (6-Gonzaga), Chase Francisco (6-Miki), Zach Gan (6-Campion), Zach Go (6-Miki), Agu Hizon (6-Faber), Kite Kabatay (6-Gonzaga), Migo Malvar (6-Berchmans), Joaquin Mendoza (5-Dumagat), Andres Sumpaico (6-Campion), Josef Tomas (6-Campion), Rocco Uy (5-Kalinga), and Jaime Villanueva (6-Claver). They are coached by Grade 6 faculty Sean Alli.
