AGS-powered A-Squad is Hoops 9.0 champ; Floirendo is Finals MVP

Consisting mainly of Ateneo de Manila Grade School students, A-Squad emerged as 9U champion of the Milcu Sports GotSkills "Hoops 9.0" basketball tournament on November 27, 2022. The Ateneans on the team are Hans Arao (3-Samat), Joaquin Ebdane (3-Pinatubo), Ryley Floirendo (4-Marikudo), Chip Gandionco (3-Pinatubo), Julian German (4-Sumakwel), Joaquin Luz (4-Agustin), Elijah Martires (3-Taal), Joaqs Palma (2-Bargas), Andrei Samson (3-Daraitan), Basti Suba (4-Tupaz), Hunter Tajon (4-Sumuroy), and Jorge Zaballa (4-Soliman). In addition, Ryley Floirendo was named MVP of the Finals at the tournament’s conclusion.
The “Hoops 9.0” games were held at Central Recreational Center in Quezon City during the weekends of November 12 to 27, 2022.
