2 AGS batters help PH Samurai place 2nd in Turkey baseball tourney

The Philippine Samurai emerged as 10U first runner-up of the Turkey International Baseball Tournament, held in Ayala Alabang Country Club, Muntinlupa City, from November 24 to 27, 2022. Two members of the Samurai team are Ateneo de Manila Grade School student athletes Joshua Gonzalez (5-Subanon) and Eliam Mojica (5-Ifugao). Joshua played as 3rd baseman and left fielder while Eliam played as shortstop and closing pitcher.
The Turkey Tournament attracted baseball players from Singapore, Hong Kong, and other club and community teams from Metro Manila.
