AGS-powered ‘Ignatius FC’ is U7 2nd runner-up of Alveo Cup

Composed mostly of Ateneo de Manila Grade School players from grades 1 & 2, the Ignatius FC team placed 3rd in the U7 division of the Alveo Cup, which was held on November 5, 2022, at Vermosa Sports Hub in Cavite. The following members of the team are Ateneans: Matteo Bartolome (2-Tanguile), Marcus Bonto (2-Acacia), Raphael De Mesa (2-Kamagong), Zion Flores (2-Tanguile), Jaime Gabasa (2-Talisay), Paco Molina (1-Maginoo), Jacob Monsanto (2-Duhat), Ethan San Diego (2-Narra), Luke Tadeo (2-Yakal), Diego Tagarda (1-Maginoo), and Andre Templo (1-Magalang).
They were coached by Mark Gilbert Ayuson, head coach of the born-2015 Ateneo football varsity team.
