U9 football team places 8th in JSSL Singapore tourney

Ateneo de Manila Grade School student athlete Zach Bautista (4-Sikatuna) is a member of the Makati Football Club U9 team that represented the Philippines in the recent JSSL Singapore Professional Academy 7s international football tournament. The event was held in Singapore from September 2 to 4, 2022.
Zach and his team reached the Cup championship knock-out round, where they finished in the Top 8 (of 20) Boys 9’s (Born 2013) teams that competed in the three-day 7-aside tournament.
The JSSL 7s is Asia’s premier youth football competition, participated in by over 450 teams of different age groups from 17 countries.
