ASHS commemorates 'Red Wednesday' with Mass
24 Nov 2022

November 23, 2022 was Red Wednesday, a day during which Roman Catholics were enjoined to pray for and stand in solidarity with Christians who have suffered or continue to be persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ.
The Red Wednesday Mass held at Ateneo de Manila Senior High School’s (a.k.a. ASHS) Blackbox theater in the morning of November 23 was sponsored by the ASHS Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion and the class of GA/11-Garnet. It was presided by Fr. Bong Dahunan SJ, Chaplain and Head of the ASHS Campus Ministry Office.

Many members of the ASHS community who attended the Mass wore red to remember the suffering Church all around the world.
By your perseverance you will secure your lives. – Luke 21:19
