The Ateneo de Manila Grade School community came together on Friday, 17 January 2025, for a joyful and meaningful celebration of the Feast of the Sto Niño. The school-wide Mass presided by the new Bishop of Cubao, Most Rev Elias L Ayuban Jr CMF, was the highlight of the festivities.
The Grade 3 students took the lead in organizing the liturgy, which opened with a vibrant Sinulog dance, a traditional expression of devotion to the Sto Niño. The celebration was made even more special with the symbolic opening of the Pilgrim Door, marking a significant milestone for the school's Pilgrims of Hope initiative.
Adding to the day's significance was the unveiling of the Pilgrims of Hope exhibit, located beside the Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angels. The exhibit, which opened last Friday, offers a reflective space for visitors and pilgrims to deepen their faith and encounter the spirit of hope.
This year’s celebration is proof of the community's deep devotion to the Sto Niño and its commitment to nurturing faith, joy, and hope among the members of the community.
