The University aims to produce skilled professionals who can develop new technologies and innovative solutions to address global challenges related to sustainable development. The university's Ateneo Intellectual Property Office (AIPO) emphasizes responsible and sustainable practices in the creation and use of intellectual property while encouraging innovation and industry support.

The Ateneo Innovation Center (AIC), a research and development hub of Ateneo de Manila University. The AIC provides a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration between faculty, students, researchers, and industry partners to develop innovative solutions to pressing societal issues, including healthcare, education, environment, and disaster risk reduction.
