36 AGS mathletes win medals for PH in PhIMO Final Round 2024

Representing the Philippines, 36 mathletes from Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) brought honor to the country by clinching a total of 36 medals at the Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad (PhIMO) Final Round 2024. The competition was held both online and onsite at the EVM Convention Center in Quezon City on September 21, 2024.
The AGS contingent secured an impressive haul: 14 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals, showcasing their mathematical prowess on an international stage. Details:

The PhiMO Final Round 2024 drew participants from Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. PhiMO is recognized as the newest and most sophisticated international mathematics competition for students from kindergarten to grade 12. It aims to celebrate and recognize the world's top mathematical problem-solvers through friendly competition, while also promoting cultural exchange among the participating countries.
