A team of four students from the John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM) won first place in the 2023 IMMAP Academy Competition held last October 2023. The team, composed of Crystelle Soriano, Enrico Siasoco, Cassie Santos, and Isaiah Cruz, outshone competitors from 18 other university teams across the Philippines with their digital marketing campaign for Grab Food, a division of the tech giant Grab.
The IMMAP Academy Competition, organized by the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP), is a rigorous contest that challenges the nation's brightest students to apply cutting-edge digital marketing strategies to real-world scenarios. By crafting a campaign for one of Southeast Asia's leading super-apps, team Ateneo demonstrated their creativity, strategic thinking, and ability to create compelling campaigns for high-profile brands in the digital space.
This achievement stands as a testament to the world-class education and preparation that JGSOM provides, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to excel in the rapidly evolving digital marketing landscape, even when tasked with promoting globally recognized brands like Grab. The team's success underscores Ateneo's position as a leading institution in business education and digital innovation.
We are immensely proud of our students and extend our gratitude to all who supported them in this journey. We hope this serves as an inspiration to current and future students to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world marketing challenges.
