Welcome to the Department of Marketing and Law, John Gokongwei School of Management

The educational objective of the Department of Marketing and Law of the John Gokongwei School of Management is to train and form our young students to be the successful entrepreneurs of the next generation, able to conceptualize and develop the innovative and value-added products and services that will be the successful and truly global Philippine brands of the future.

The Department is a critical service department for the various degree programs of the John Gokongwei School of Management, providing business law expertise that is an integral part of their curricula. It is a key partner in the development and growth of the Legal Management program.

From the Department Chair

These are times of many changes and new realities. As future leaders in business, you are asked to respond to the challenges of this dynamic marketplace. Now, more than ever, strategic thinking, ideation, insighting, and creativity, together with the knowledge and appreciation of what is lawful, fair and ethical, are most valuable.

This will not only be an academic journey but also an experience of real-world practice. This will not only be a honing of skills and intellect, but also an embolding of the Ignatian spirit of magis. We are excited to walk hand in hand with you in this path of excellence not just for the self, but for others and for God.

Welcome to Marketing & Law.

Euguene Kaw
Chair
