Ateneo Teacher Center

The Ateneo Teacher Center (ATC) was established in 1985 in response to the country's need to provide for the retraining of teachers, especially in basic education.

The Center is a support unit of GBSEALD's Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment with the vision to serve the Philippine educational system by taking the lead in influencing educational policies and directions through graduate education, training programs and research.  Its mission is to empower educators through an understanding of their profession and vocation.  Specifically, it aims to upgrade the skills of teachers, guidance counselors and school administrators in basic education by conducting seminars and workshops.
