Under the supervision of the President, the Vice President for Mission Integration is primarily responsible for instilling, nourishing, and promoting the core values and principles of Ateneo de Manila University, as embodied in the teachings of St Ignatius of Loyola and the Society of Jesus, among members of the Ateneo community.
In promoting and developing a thriving culture based on Ignatian Spirituality and its integral component of generous service to God and to society, the Vice President for Mission Integration shall be responsible and accountable for:
the holistic formation of the members of the Ateneo community in the following aspects of development and formation: spiritual, psychological, social and physical; and,
ensuring that the University stays faithful to its mission of rendering meaningful service to society.
The 2024 Ateneo Development Field School (ADFS) journeyed to Siargao for community-based participatory development. Partnering with Gawad Kalinga (GK) Pangarap Village in Lobogon, Del Carmen, students transformed theory into practice during their two-week community immersion.
On 28 June 2024, Pathways Alumni gathered with us in the Ateneo de Manila campus for a homey Alum Socials and Updates night. With more mature alumni from our 4th Batch of students to our fresh graduates from our 16th Batch, we were able to catch up with almost 80 of our alums and keep them up to date with the Pathways program.
Students of St Joseph National High School in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija will now benefit from a new Senior High School building, conceptualized through the initiative of Principal Estrelita Geronimo and Fr Ben Nebres SJ, and made possible by the generous donation of Dr Kate Shaw Curry via GK USA, in partnership with Gawad Kalinga (GK), the LGU of Cabiao, and GK-Ateneo.
