Admission to the School of Medicine and Public Health is highly competitive. Applicants are evaluated based on their academic performance in college, their scores in the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT), as well as their interview, essay, and other credentials.

ASMPH admission for SY 2025-2026 are out.

You may secure your place in our first year class for SY 2025-2026 in two steps: Acceptance of Offer and Confirmation. Acceptance of Offer is from 6-9 May 2025 only.

Eligibility

Applicants should have graduated from college/university with a bachelor's (BS or AB) degree, or should be graduating from college / university (taking up a BS or AB degree) at the end of the 2nd Semester of the current school year.

Applicants who will complete college/ university requirements beyond the second semester of the current school year may apply for the next round of admissions.

Applicants should also have taken the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) within the last 2 years with a recommended percentile rank of 90 or higher.

Recommended Pre-med Courses Taken in College/University

Although not required for admission, applicants to ASMPH are highly encouraged to take the following courses to help them prepare for medical school:

  • General Biology or General Zoology or General Botany
  • Cell and Molecular Biology
  • Biochemistry
  • General Physics
