Housing and Transportation Studies

Housing and Transport Studies looks into landscapes of urban housing, resettlement, and transport, focusing on the production and use of space to examine: i)  how transport systems rework spaces and spatial practices; ii) the integration of place and transport as shaping spatial imaginaries, spatial movements, and mobility decisions; iii) gendered mobilities as linked to transport systems, transport arrangements, and access to spaces; iv) vulnerabilities of housing and transport systems, and responses towards sustainability; v) notions of social and spatial justice in housing sites and transport provision.
