On 3 June 2025, the Ricardo Leong Institute of Global and Area Studies (RLIGAS) of Ateneo de Manila University's Dr Rosita G Leong School of Social Sciences (RGL-SoSS) held a Panelists' Orientation and Synchronous Survey Answering Session for the project titled “Defining Anticipated Health Needs: Benchmarking an Emerging Philippine Methodology with the Republic of Korea Foresight Studies.”
Led by Dr Dennis B Batangan, MD, MSc (Heid) (RLIGAS-RGL-SoSS Research Fellow), and Rian Mitchell Piamonte, student researcher and research scientist at the RGL-SoSS - Institute of Philippine Culture (IPC), the session introduced participants to the methodology of eDelphi surveys, an online foresight tool for gathering expert consensus.
Participants were guided through registration on the eDelphi platform, with instructions to fill out the required fields and submit their entries. The interactive online setup encouraged real-time responses and collaboration. The event supports efforts to localize foresight approaches for Philippine health systems.
