ASHS mathletes Dionisio and Neria win gold in World Math Invitational prelims

Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) mathletes Sam Dionisio (11-Borja) and Nathan Neria (11-Moscoso) earned gold medals in the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) Preliminary Round, which was held online on 25 January 2025.
The WMI challenges participants with a rigorous set of multiple-choice and short-answer questions designed to assess proficiency in key areas such as algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics. Founded in Taiwan in 2013, the WMI is a prestigious international competition that aims to inspire excellence in mathematics among students around the globe.
As top scorers in the preliminary round, Sam and Nathan are invited to represent the Philippines in the WMI Final Round, which will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, in July 2025.
