8 AGS mathletes haul gold in 2024 HKIMO Heat Round

Twenty-eight Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) mathletes won eight golds, nine silvers, and 11 bronzes in the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) Heat Round 2024, which was held online on 26 May 2024.

The HKIMO is an international mathematics competition open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. It distinguishes itself by featuring standardized topics such as Logical Thinking, Arithmetic/Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry, and Combinatorics, aiming to stimulate interest in mathematics, strengthen creative thinking, and broaden international perspectives among young learners.
