ASMPH triumphs as Champions in the 51st Interscholastic Clinicopathologic Conference

The Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH) emerged as champions in the 51st Interscholastic Clinicopathologic Conference (ICPC) entitled "Interstellar." The prestigious competition, organized by the UP Medical Students Society in collaboration with the PGH Department of Pathology, took place on 23 March 2025, at the UP College of Medicine. ASMPH secured the top title against nine other participating medical schools from Luzon to Mindanao.
The ASMPH team was represented by its outstanding speakers: Ysabella Santiago (YL7), CJ Santiago (YL7), Paulo Mendoza (YL6), and Gabrielle Reyes (YL6). Their presentation showcased their deep clinical knowledge, analytical skills, and collaborative efforts, which ultimately led to their victory.

Beyond the speakers, the success of the ASMPH ICPC Team was made possible by the dedicated efforts of its members:

The team’s month-long preparation was guided by the invaluable mentorship of ASMPH faculty and consultants, including Dr. Rico Tee (ASMPH CPC Coach), Dr. Mark Sta. Maria, Dr. Jelvin Co, Dr. Johan Uichico, Dr. Jax Lerios-Dela Peña, Dr. Albert Bautista, Dr. Paulette Nacpil-Dominguez, and Dr. Pearl Diamante. Their expertise and dedication played a crucial role in refining the students' clinical reasoning and presentation skills.
Special recognition is also given to ASMPH Academics Council President RM Mendoza and VP for CPC Enza Quimson for their leadership in coordinating the team’s rigorous preparations.
