Grade 6 Atenean Kiefer Biasbas wins gold for English in ASMO nat’l round

Ateneo de Manila Grade School student Kiefer Biasbas (6-Brebeuf) won two medal awards in the Asian Science and Math Olympiad (ASMO) National Round: a gold for English and a silver for Math.
The ASMO National Round 2024 was held online on 6 October 2024. As a national round medalist, Kiefer has been invited to join the ASMO International Round, whose participating countries include Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, USA and Uzbekistan.
The ASMO is a competition platform designed to challenge and evaluate students' knowledge in Science, Mathematics, and English at their respective grade levels. It places emphasis on the competitors’ abilities to find non-routine solutions to problems and to further stretch their knowledge and understanding of the concepts.
