Gender sensitivity training at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health
06 Mar 2025
The Ateneo University Gender Hub conducted a Gender Sensitivity Training program for ASMPH faculty and staff last 5 March 2025.
This timely training addressed the many facets of gender—a topic that can be challenging to navigate but is crucial for all of us to understand and create an inclusive educational environment. This initiative ensures that everyone in the Ateneo community feels welcomed and included. The training also highlighted that there are clear procedures in place for anyone seeking help or advice on gender-related matters.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Mira Alexis P Ofreneo and Jaztine A Calderon from the University Gender Hub, Atty Alma Renee R Pavia from the University Decorum and Investigation Office and Dr Maria Elissa J Lao from the University Gender and Development Office.
ASMPH remains committed to implementing these learnings in our daily interactions with students and colleagues.
