The Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH) emerged victorious at the APMC-SN NCR-SL Regional Clinico-pathologic Case (CPC) Competition, besting 12 other medical schools. The competition was held on 2 February 2025 at the UP College of Medicine.

Led by Reginald Marcos, who was also named Best Presenter, the winning team included Jennifer Santos, Lyon Lim, Anna Cabatbat, and Enza Quimson. Their success comes after three weeks of rigorous preparation and consultation with faculty members.
As regional champions, the ASMPH team will advance to represent the NCR-SL region in the upcoming APMC-SN National CPC Competitions later this year, alongside the other top three finalists.
The victory was made possible through the guidance of several faculty mentors and consultants, including Dr Rico Tee, who served as the ASMPH CPC Coach, Dr Maffie Tayzon, Dr Keith Serrano, Dr Jax Lerios-Dela Peña, Dean Cenon Alfonso, Dr Reza Koa-Sales, Dr David Ong, Dr Gio de la Cruz, Dr Kieffer Ferraris, Dr Fatima Gimenez, and other ASMPH CPC alumni.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated support team of CPC researchers from Year Level 5 and 7 contributed significantly to the team's success. The research team included Sophia Alipit, MJ Cabalitan, George Kua, Chloie Orlina, Carmel Rolloque, Venice Suguitan, Jezrel Bugtas, Twinkle De Guzman, Vince Escalante, Edric Lui, Steph Obias, Nikki Siasoco, and Miguel Valencia. The creative aspects of the presentation were handled by Adel Tantay and Avy Salvador. RM Mendoza, the Academics Council President, played a crucial role in coordinating the team's efforts throughout the competition preparation period.
This achievement marks another milestone for ASMPH, demonstrating the school's commitment to excellence in medical education and case analysis. The victory not only brings pride to the institution but also showcases the collaborative spirit between students and faculty in achieving academic excellence.
