Patricia Lee wins silver for PH in 2024 Thailand Math Olympiad

Representing the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) mathlete Patricia Lee of 12-Anchieta won a silver medal in the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) Final Round 2024, which was held onsite in Bangkok, Thailand, and online from 26-28 April 2024. She competed in the Senior Secondary division.
Jointly organized by Olympiad Champion Education Centre (OCEC) from Hong Kong and the Thailand Mathematics Society, the TIMO is an annual international competition is designed to stimulate and foster young people’s interest in learning mathematics and strengthen their creative thinking.
The TIMO Final Round 2024 was a significant international event, drawing over 900 mathletes to the onsite competition and more than 4,500 online participants from a diverse range of countries including Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
