Ateneo rises 90 spots in 2025 QS Sustainability Rankings

Ateneo de Manila University rose 90 spots in the latest edition of the QS Sustainability Rankings, the global rankings table highlighting environmental and social impact in higher education.
Ateneo is now ranked 503 globally, up from 593 in the previous edition. It is also #2 in the Philippines, and is the highest-ranked Filipino private institution.
According to QS, the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability is based on an institution's performance across three major categories: Environmental Impact, Social Impact, and Governance.

Five Philippine institutions were included in this year's rankings. These are the University of the Philippines (=333); Ateneo de Manila (=503); De La Salle University (911-920); University of Santo Tomas (1041-1060); and Mapua University (1141-1160).
A total of 1,743 universities from 107 countries and territories were included in this year's rankings.
