He is the only Atenean to win medals in more than one field of the Copernicus Olympiad.
The Copernicus Olympiad was established in 2020 in Houston, Texas, by passionate educators with international experience. The name Copernicus is derived from the famous Polish mathematician- physicist-astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, who proposed the revolutionary theory that the planets revolve around the Sun, contrary to the then-prevailing belief that Earth was the center of the Universe.
The Copernicus Olympiad offers grades 3 to 12 students from all over the world the opportunity to compete in the following disciplines:
· Natural Science Olympiad
· Physics and Astronomy Olympiad
· Copernicus Film Festival
· Copernicus Entrepreneurship Olympiad (CEO)
· Mathematics Olympiad
The Copernicus Olympiad is growing day by day and currently has contestants from 52 countries around the globe.
