UPDATED Information on Commencement Activities for the Class of 2025

Over the last month or so, we have been trying to organize the graduation ceremonies in the new venue, the renovated Blue Eagle Gym, taking into account what is most comfortable for everyone in the available space allocated for our events.

With apologies, this consideration led us to a decision to have four graduation ceremonies, superseding what we had previously announced as two graduation ceremonies (see 4 March 2025 memo). While dates and schools assigned to dates remain as originally announced, the schedule of each graduation ceremony, including rehearsals, has been modified.

Please refer to the following details:

Date: FRIDAY, 20 JUNE 2025

Finding Food

On a graduation day, traffic can be more challenging than usual. And long queues are often observed in eating places around the area. In anticipation of this situation and of the short intervals between ceremonies, as shown in the above schedule, we have asked the Grade School Cafeteria to accommodate more customers on Friday, 20th June from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some of your favorite food concessionaires have also been asked to put up their stalls for easy-to-handle food such as burgers, sandwiches, chips, drinks, coffee, etc. They will be in the lobby and in the garden of the Irwin Theater from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on both Friday, 20th and Saturday, 21st June.

Graduation rehearsals

These will be held on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 in the Blue Eagle Gym. All graduates are required to attend the rehearsals. Please take note of your respective rehearsal schedules:

8:00 AM SOSE Assembly 7:00 AM
10:00 AM JGSOM Assembly 9:00 AM
12:00 NN RGLSOSS Assembly 11:00 AM
2:00 PM GBSEALD and SOH Assembly 1:00 PM

The distribution of togas and invitations will take place in the Blue Eagle Gym after the rehearsals.

As previously announced, graduating AB/BFA/BS students who will not be able to attend their graduation rehearsal and/or the Commencement Exercises must fill out this Google form on or before Friday, 13 June 2025: https://forms.gle/JBy2XirnQJ4fmkuK7

I trust that you will make a good note of all the above information.

See you next week in your graduation best!
