4 AGS mathletes grab gold in nat'l round of Thailand Olympiad

Fourteen Ateneo de Manila Grade School mathletes won four gold, seven silver, and three bronze medals in their respective grade levels in the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) Heat Round, which was held online on October 22, 2023.
The gold medal winners are:

The silver medal winners are:
Mika Bagain (3-Mayon), P3

Iñigo Cristobal (4-Humabon), P4
Koko Dela Cruz (6-Campion), P6
Miguel Tagarda (4-Sultan Kudarat), P4
Russ Tan (4-Maniago), P4


The bronze medal winners are:
Lego Pauig (4-Marikudo), P4
Diego Tagarda (2-Ipil), P2
Matty Trinidad (6-Bellarmine), P6

The TIMO is an annual international competition jointly organized by Olympiad Champion Education Centre (OCEC) from Hong Kong and the Thailand Mathematics Society. It is designed to stimulate and foster young people’s interest in learning mathematics and strengthen their creative thinking.
All TIMO Heat Round medalists were invited to join the TIMO Final Round which was held onsite in Bangkok, Thailand, and online from April 26—29, 2024.
