Renzo Nicomedes places 3rd in national Piano Competition’s 10-12 division

Ateneo de Manila Grade School student Renzo Nicomedes (5-Dumagat) recently won 3^rd place in the Filipino Works category of the Piano Competition 2024 hosted by the Piano Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines Foundation, Inc (PTGPFI). He joined the A2 bracket (for 10- to 12-year-olds) of the national competition, which was held at Saint Paul University in Manila on April 14, 2024.

The event placed emphasis on Études and Filipino works and was open to Filipino and foreign pianists residing in the Philippines. The ages of contestants ranged from below nine years old (A1 category) to 30 years old (C category).
