Minor in Gender Studies
The Gender Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary program that explores key concepts and analytical tools for understanding gender issues and their intersectionality. It fosters an innovative mindset to address contemporary gender challenges.
The following subjects will be offered this coming first semester 2023-2024, and can count towards the Minor:
- SOCIO 138.1 (Gender Relations, required course for the Minor)
- HISTO 132.03i (History of Gender in Asia)
- IDS 133.04i (Ideologies: Gender and Society in the Philippines: Perspective, Problems, and Prospects)
- JPN 180.21 (Special Topic: Gender in Japan)
- PNTKN 149.03i (Kulturang Popular at Usapin ng Kasarian)
Admission Requirements
- Applicants must have successfully completed SOCSC 11 (Understanding the Self)
