“Block Through The Flocc” wins Grade 9 Research Fair’s Pope Francis Award

The Ateneo de Manila Junior High School Science Subject Area congratulates the Grade 9 winners of Deep Dive, the 2023 Science Research (SciRe) Fair Exhibit held from April 19 to 26, 2023. The G9 Ateneans formed groups that were tasked to propose ideas that would reduce man’s wasteful impact on our planet. Each group then wrote a paper that elaborated on its proposal and created a poster that was exhibited on the SciRe Fair website and in the MST lobby. The boy who appears in each slide’s upper left hand corner is the project leader. He is also seen standing beside our late principal, Jonny Salvador, in the group photos that were taken on May 4, 2023.
It is hoped that these winning projects will encourage our community to reduce its negative impact on the planet through sustainable actions that will improve the quality of life for future generations.
